  • Kari McGrath - Failed in four months

We bought a Nuwave from a store, and it quit working in four months. I did not like it as much as the Big Boss type model, as it had a LOT of condensation that was released when we opened the lid. It also tended to accumulate water in the very bottom plastic part from the condensation. I think all the condensation was what ultimately did in the unit. They say they have a year warranty, but when I called, they said I would have to pay shipping and handling of $14.95, plus return the old unit back at our expense. At over $30 in shipping and handling and time, and being out the unit until they send a replacement, it is not worth it, which is what I'm sure they are relying on. I will never buy a Nuwave oven again. However, I really like their little hotplates, which we cook on all the time.

  • MD,PhD,MOM - Product okay, but "science" garbage

A friend of mine asked me to try this, since she is thinking about selling it. I am a professor who used to do dermatology research and a women approaching 40, so she wanted my opinion on this product. First of all, I reviewed the "science", which is complete garbage. There is not one actual scientific article published on this product, or on the miracle component. Also, their scientific advisor is a fraud without a single legitimate publication! I spoke to a friend who is a well known physician and cancer researcher at MD Anderson who said that Robert Newman has no actual affiliation with the hospital.

  • K. Ann Seeton - Best Written book on Fasting, worth the wait

THE COMPLETE GUIDE TO FASTING is amazing. Clearly written, respectful of the historical traditions it cites, good bibliography at the end of chapters, clear, easy to understand, not puffed up with filler but filled with good information. This book lends itself to short reading sessions AND to sitting for an afternoon enjoying it-- some books are only good in short bits, but this one is as pleasurable to read as a good novel. I hated to put it down and have been carrying it with me so I can read more every chance I get. I pre-ordered it so I got it the first round. If you have to wait-- this book is worth the wait. I can hardly wait to try the techniques in the second part.

  • Greg - Average quality, not worth the price. Will never buy Sole products again.

I am not sure why Sole treadmills get so much good reviews. I was expecting to get something closer to the high end treadmills from my gym, given the reviews and the price.

  • Annstar49 - Love this carseat

Love this carseat. We have a Diono Radian RXT for our son, and I mostly love it, but was looking for something with an easier/faster install but same safety. Especially for ERF I wanted something that was easy to put baby in and take her out. This car seat is a dream! We love it. It's heavy, but no more than my Diono- but what I really love is how clean it is. I always bust my hands up on car seats during install or moving them- not this one! Every thing is tucked away nicely and there aren't any extra straps hanging around. The plastic out coverings are rounded, which means no scraped fingers or hands. Love that the seats lifts out for easy access to the belt path during install. I can switch it back and forth between cars in record time, with a great install every time. Quick and easy. No rethread harness, but that's not a big deal for us. Especially with how easy it is to do. Tightening the straps RF is simple- my only complaint is the latch to loosen the straps is tucked back pretty far under the seat. I have long fingers and it's still a stretch. Also when baby has on a tank top and her shoulders are exposed, sometimes her skin gets pinched when I tighten the straps (between the strap and the small shoulder cover). This wasn't an issue in her infant seat, but she's pretty chunky, so maybe it could be an issue in another seat?? I'm not certain, but we just take care when fastening her. Overall I adore this seat. Baby girl seems to love it too. She's a larger baby (23lbs at 9 months) but she has plenty of room to grow in it. Our 3 yr old gave it a test drive when we first got it and he was ready to have it for himself. It's easy to install and consistently has a correct fit in the car and on the child.

  • Carrie/Scott - Wish it went over table skirt

We have a 4'' table skirt, which is about 2.5'' inches in from the edge of our table. This seat does attach, but the U-shaped bars underneath don't go around the skirt - they are not large enough. The seat does attach securely with the U-bars in front of the skirt, but there is a sizable gap between it and the table - a gap large enough to drop a sippy cup through, food, etc.. big mess down below. I wish the U-shaped bars could be a little larger, then maybe my baby could really sit right up to the table instead of being suspended near it.
