  • N. Thomas - It's a Decent Plan

I bought this book in early February and read it in one day. It is a really good book and I love the way it is spiral bound and laid out b/c it has some good recipes in it. I don't really do the diet, but the book really opened my eyes to cutting back on sugar. I like the food swaps a lot, but one thing I don't like and refuse to do is the sugar substitutions. I do not like sugar alcohols. Stevia tastes good in koolaid, but that's it and Truvia smells too sweet. It almost smells like chocolate. I cannot eat it.

  • Namzzaj - Worthless piece of software

I used Quicken Rental Property Manager version 2.0 on my XP machine. Now that I am running Windows 7, it will not install, so I decided to try this.

  • Richard - Not really worth it: get another flashlight

It's all right. Not nearly 1000 lumens. We got a cheaper flashlight that was the same thing that feels better in terms of the overall construction. Battery is already dying after 3 days very quickly and had to order a new set of batteries for it.

  • Reluctant Reader - Don't be a fool. Read this book.

I wish a book like this had been around 38 years ago when my marriage began. I plan on giving a copy to both my sons. I've always been completely mystified by the workings of my wife's heart, but her unpredictable, seemingly completely whimsical responses to me over the years are pretty well explained in this book, allowing me to finally exert some control over them. This book is the "enigma machine" for marriage, and a damn good investment.

  • Daniel Ambrus - i was not impressed

While this album is the most highly lauded of the long and amazing career of Massive Attack, it left me disappointed, prehaps because of all the hype I had heard about it before listening. Sure, safe From harm and Five Man Army are nice tracks but don't expect them to just knock you flat like 'Angel' or 'Black Milk' from Mezzanine did for me.

  • 508Lobsterman - No One Sould Do Their Taxes Any Year Without Reading JK Lasser

Surprisingly J.K. LASSER'S YOUR INCOME TAX should be annual reading for anyone interested in improving their financial lot in life. If you understand tax law, you might understand how you and your family might become wealthy if you did certain things and arranged your affairs so that the IRS approves of what you are doing. JK Lassser is one of the secrets to understanding wealth accumulation in the Untied States. Sure it might be boring but realize within the huge volume there maybe one or two gems where your circumstances in one year could be improved the next year if you took time to arrange your Federal and State tax affairs so you paid as Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said your fair and just amount of tax and no more. In other words, you could save money next year if you read JK Lasser this year. For a tax regulation book the book is so clearly written. It is in English! It is written for readers with a high school education. It has many examples explaining what the IRS means and shows you how to fill out the IRS forms so it pleases the IRS. I read it over even though I use TURBO-TAX to make sure I my circumstances this year are correct for Federal tax filing and to take advantage of what I might do next year.
