This bike replaced a 13yo TREK 6500 and I couldn't be happier. The 2012 version of this bike has a few upgrades over the 2011 model most notably, 3x10 gearing and an improved fork/shock. While I had a $1431 budget (moving company payout for crushing my old bike), I decide I didn't need that much bike for the kind of riding I do. This is an XC bike, and that's the kind of riding I will using it for. I live in coastal SC. Forest trails, swampy areas, and the occasional downed tree. I appreciate the lock out front fork for the frequent transitions from asphalt, trails, open forest,and back.

The product is perfect - the seller, not so!!! I ordered the FLAT floor protector for my new Escape. Unfortunately, the seller felt it was cheaper to roll the FLAT piece into a 8" roll to fit into a 8" square box to ship. When it arrived, it was kinked and twisted - had to set in the sun for several days just for it to lay flat and it still has the kinks in it from being rolled up. Not cool.....

I drive a 2000 Toyota 4Runner V-6 and have a little over 160K miles on it. Several months ago I noticed a little oil on the garage floor. My mechanic determined that the valve cover gaskets were leaking and quoted me $600 to replace them. I have used Lucas Oil Stop Leak with the last two oil changes and the leaking has stopped. The leak was very minor, so I'm sure the gaskets had hardened with age and the Stop Leak softened them so they would seal. I guess I'll have to have them replaced sooner or later, but for now Lucas has allowed me to defer a $600 repair bill.
