  • Idlehr - Unbelieveable

Kids loved it. If you have a book reader they'll love this one. Maybe even a challenge you might want to get recorded or beat. I think I could break some records. Can you?

  • Kay See See? - Leap Pad...For the WIN!

First, you should know I purchased this in November to give to my daughter for Christmas. My daughter was 2 months shy of her second birthday when she received this. Within a week, through some freak occurrence, my daughter dropped the Leap Pad from her high chair at the exact right height and exact right angle to crack the screen. My husband (not a believer in customer service) says, "Well, that was that." You see, the Leap Pad was sold out. Well, customer service is AMAZING. They had me write across the screen of the broken one, take a picture of it, and they sent me a new one and I sent them the broken one. This is not too shabby for a $100 toddler toy. It only gets better. As we live in the south (AKA the worst and most unpredictable weather you can imagine) we spend a fair amount of time waiting out tornado warnings in the bathtub. Today, as a matter of fact, we're experiencing the worst storms to hit the gulf coast since 1887. Thankfully, the Leap Pad can work only on batteries. Today, I'm thankful for batteries, the Leap Pad, and Dora videos. A two year old gets cabin fever faster than Jack Nicholson in The Shining. Believe me, she gets a whole lot crazier, too. All and all, totally worth it.
