I purchased this book as a quick review for the TEAS V. I have already taken my nursing prerequisites and have a BS in science, and purchased this book as a refresher for any basics that I may have forgotten. Having said that, I would not recommend this book if you are unsteady in any of your basics, or are having trouble with one of the sections. This book was very vague in regards to some of the body systems that it covered, and asked questions that it did not cover in detail or give explanations for. What I would like to primarily note, however, is the number of situations where I found or read misinformation on a topic. This book did not just contain typos, but completely incorrect information. The most blatant was in the science section. If you do not have a strong foundation and are trying to learn from one of the study guides, do not purchase this book because there is a strong possibility that you will learn the information incorrectly. The reading section was very close to what I came into contact with on the actual TEAS V, but the other section reviews were of much lower quality than what I would expect from a test prep company. Use the official study guide provided by ATI.
The ASVAB is not a very difficult test. If you made it through high school, you should have no problem. But, where it really counts is when you get into those higher score ranges. Some jobs require a minimum score much higher than the just passing score. That's where this guide is great. Helps you get a feel for the type of sections to expect on the test and get a little practice. Take your time, study it, and get comfortable with the material. If you find a section that you're struggling with, get some other material on it and work on it till you feel prepared. Overall, just like anything in life, if you put the time and effort in this book will be a great resource. If you skim it once and don't put much into it then you won't get much out of it.
As a woman who doesn't leave work early to cook dinner, I struggled to prove to my employer that I'm worth the full 72% of a man's pay. How could I, working 16-hour shifts, ever be seen as pulling my weight, when other women were heading home to do their domestic duty?
The stuff works well to get the glue from stickers off my vehicle. But once it is loose you need to keep spraying it and wiping it to get the glue completely off. So I suggest that if you use this product and you think you will need one can, order two.
I know the 2009 version of this game got pretty bad reviews but the reviews for this one seemed a lot better so I figured I'd try it plus I got it on sale. It was horrible though. The Wii board support is pretty bad and she does moves but you have to guess at how to interact with the board. Then you get yelled at/dinged because you have no idea what you are supposed to be doing. I may try this without the balance board to see if my feelings change but there are so many other good options out there, I'd say skip this one!!
First off, I've purchased a bunch of different flavors of ON Gold Standard Whey. All of them have close to the same nutritional value, but they vary greatly in taste. Both my wife and I drink these protein shakes as part of our daily diet, and as a product, Optimum Nutrition is great. I've mixed with both milk and water, and all of the shakes mix well and don't seem to clump. I've tried other manufactures whey, and I keep finding myself going back to ON for the price, nutritional value, and above all the taste.
First off, let me state that I did not purchase the standard retail version of this game. I had heard all about the retarded DRM scheme guaranteed to piss off paying customers while not affecting pirates in the slightest. I was determined to avoid this at all costs and I did.
