  • 1skeptic - Do your research

I researched the information because I thought losing the weight in 8 days sounded really great...even though I had a personal trainer for 2 years and had spoken with health professionals and they recommended 2-3 pounds per week was a realistic and HEALTHY goal. I was sent to a website and saw the startup for the initial kit was about $250.00...very expensive for a single mom. I also began looking at the ingredients and warning label and was SHOCKED. It said it was not safe for anyone under 17 and not recommended for pregnant/nursing moms. Some of the distributors on their personal websites were saying the opposite of what's on the product label!!! Also, it listed a number of illnesses such as high blood pressure, recurrent headaches, etc and said people who suffer from these should NOT use the product...so why are there testimonials of people saying they use the product and have been cured by it? I could find no medical professionals on their website and I did not find any clinical studies or results from the same ANYWHERE on their website. Aside from all this information...the last line on the product label (xyng) stated that it could cause athletes to have test results positive for drug screenings. Ummm, thanks but I will pass. As a Soldier in the Army I cannot afford to throw away my 10+ year career over this (or any) product. Good luck to those that use it and lost the weight. I hope there are no side effects that come out in the next couple of years.

  • Madhatt - Just when you thought I-Ops couldn't get any better!

This is Immortal Ops as it was always meant to be! Over a decade ago Mandy Roth brought us super sexy alpha shifters fighting the good fight as an elite military group. Despite being military these guys have attitude and humor and quake only in the presence of their feisty mates. This re-release features a lot of new content but still has that sexy humor fans have come to love! If you are already an I-Ops fan the extended version is well worth the read and if you are new to I-Ops or Mandy Roth there is no better place to start becoming a fan!

  • Audri - Made me sick

This product comes individually wrapped in aluminum foil - which is unhealthy enough. Every time I took it for more than 2-3 days, I felt awful. No diarrhea or anything, but awful!

  • Rachel - Leapfrog LeapPad

I bought a LeapPad for each of my 4yr old twins and they love them. I love them because they are both fun and educational. My girls are learning how to write the letters of the alphabet using one of the learning games and they both love the shake and blowing into the microphone features of some of the games. Great product that they won't grow out of too fast. I would definitely recommend to others.

  • Jessica in NE - Another good entry into the series

The "Best American Short Stories" series is in its 35th year. As usual, the stories come from well-known writers and tell (usually) exquisite story vignettes in less than 20 pages. It seems that many of the writers have participated in recent editions of "The Best..." While the time periods range from the late 1800s (Jim Shepard) through some unspecified dystopian future (George Saunders'), the historical period does not burden the character development. Even those stories I didn't like for one reason or another were worth reading. I found six stories that I liked (denoted by a (*)), and only three or four stories that completely disinterested me, so I'd still rate this book as "worth buying."

  • Lars - Euhemerism doesn't make a good adventure flick

If you're looking for mythic storytelling, you'll be disappointed. The creators of Hercules have a demythologizing and deconstructive agenda that deflates the legend at every turn. "It didn't really happen that way, and it doesn't matter if it did." The creators seem to think that "explaining" the mythical by replacing it with the mundane is clever, when in fact they rob the stories of their sense of wonder.
