Neuroimaging: The Brain Imaging Center (BIC) at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai | BIC - The Brain Imaging Center (BIC) at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai (ISMMS) is a state-of-the-art neuroimaging facility opened in 2012. It is located in Manhattan, in the specially designed Hess Center for Science and Medicine, also home to ISMMS's Minerva supercomputing facilities for biodiscovery. BIC defines a translational bridge between two major ISMMS research engines- the Friedman Brain Institute, and the Translational and Molecular Imaging Institute. BIC provides access to cutting edge neuroimaging instruments, facilities and expertise for the design, collection and analysis of brain research. BIC invites investigators to explore the research potential of neuroimaging for historically isolated studies of the brain in both health and during illness.
